"I ain't have no regrets..."

Last week I had the absolute privilege of bringing 3-5 kids from Allen Hills to the Vacation Bible School at my Church. The kids were very shocked on arriving to this big church full of "white kids", but after an hour of singing, dancing, coloring, and doing other fun things they were racially color blind. Watch below.

On Monday's drive they talked about adult TV shows like Family Guy and violence in Allen Hills. In a sense, these kids live adult lives. However, the rest of the week we laughed and talked about the fun things they were going to do that day at VBS. Things children should be concerned about.

Towards the end of the week, Mario and Terrell couldn't wait by their apartment anymore, but would stand on the street corner outside the gate watching for my minivan. Friday morning they told me they had been waiting 40 minutes on the street corner before regular pick up time. When I asked Jon Corey what his favorite part of the week was he responded,
"I loved it all, I ain't have no regrets."
