This week my supervisor invited me to attend an FCA Wrestlemania breakfast in Atlanta. I don't watch entertainment wrestling so I didn't have any expectations of meeting a childhood hero or anything, but I thought it would be fun to attend! As soon as I walk in, a stalky guy with tattoo-written arms greets me at the door. He is very passionate and direct and asks me why I am attending the breakfast! He was a wrestler that was saved from an drug overdose.
After I spoke to Rob for a while I looked around the room to introduce myself to someone else. I decided to introduce myself to the least intimidating guy I could find. He was wearing a Whitefield Academy (my alma mater) sweatshirt and wandering around the room. He introduced himself as Larry and I thought for sure he was a Wrestling fan. Later to find out he is the brain behind the breakfast and the once very popular Lex Lugar. Here he speaks about his debut in Wrestlemania in the 70's and the new ministry he is starting, World Wrestling Outreach.
