I went to Holy Innocents Episcopal School (HIES) to meet with the lacrosse and soccer coaches. I had about 30 minutes between meetings and the walked through the halls crowded with students finishing lunch.
Please refer to the diagram below:
I walk down the hallway looking for a restroom. Normally when you see a men's restroom the next restroom sign is for the women's. Well, not at HIES. Without looking I just walked right into the second men's bathroom.
I was pleased to know the bathroom was newly cleaned as the toilet seat was up.
Taking care of business I hear the door creak open and a young boy not so smoothly cough and say: ***You're in the boys bathroom!***
At this point I have a decision to make:
I can walk out and not make eye contact with anyone
OR
I can put on a smile and own my mistake.
So, I walk out of the bathroom to see 30+ high schoolers giggling and staring at me (the brown dots represent students). I slap on a smile and say, "I'd like to thank whoever informed me that I was in the men's restroom." They all kind of avoided eye contact and then one kid blurted out in a sarcastic manner, "It's okay... nobody is perfect."

So, I feel like many people wonder what my schedule looks like on a daily basis.
Well, everyday looks different. But this is a glimpse from today.
Most days, it's like i'm the new kid (since I look their age) at every school I visit!
However, I do see the Lord blessing these newly forged relationships and as you can see the Lord has a creative way of humbling His children :)

HAHAHA!!! smooooth
